THE SEVENTEENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME
23rd/24th July, 2016

Give us this day our Daily Bread
The request for our daily bread is very practical, tangible, hands on.  We need to believe that God cares for us in a real, practical, way.  It’s not just a notion or an aspiration.  We mightn’t be short of bread but we do have many other needs.  We should never be afraid to ask, to seek, to knock.
