The Mass on TV yesterday was from Ballinahowen Church with Father Aidan Ryan the Celebrant. The local Youth Choir were featured and young local musicians.
Playing cards in Portumna yesterday a lady asked Jim Mooney and myself where we were from.When we said Shannonbridge she wanted to know if Pat Killeen ever got married. Both of them were in school in Banagher years ago. She now lives in Loughrea and her name is Angela Leahy.
