Youth 2000 Ireland will be hosting their annual Christmas Retreat in Newbridge College, Newbridge, Co. Kildare from Friday 12th to Sunday 14th December 2014. Many young people from across Ireland (aged 16-35) are expected at this donation only event, with all newcomers very welcome.   This is a great opportunity to find out what your faith is all about in a friendly, chilled out atmosphere.  Free buses available.  Online booking necessary, see www.youth2000.ie or phone 01 6753690. 

Ard Chiarain Advent Scripture Talks, by Fr Benny McHale,,  2nd & 9th Dec @ 8pm. Carols on Tues 16th Dec @ 8pm. All welcome.

Family Mass in Shannonbridge Church, in conjunction with the St V.de Paul Society on Sun 7th Dec @ 12noon.  It would be appreciated if each child could donate a small wrapped Christmas gift, labelled “boy”, or “girl” and the age for which it is suitable. This offers us all an opportunity to give to a child in need, & your support is greatly appreciated
