New houses are coming on well for Liam Fallon on a site near Galvin's house near Cloniffeen, for John Mooney on a site as one goes into the Bog Rail Tour, and for Pat Gaffey on the Clonmacnois road at Corrigeen. Keep an eye out for progress on Fergal and Linda Moran's site on top of the hill in Raghrabeg near Kenny's house. Will this give other people ideas for building ?

I'm 3rd gen Irish American... the last Galvin i know of was
James Galvin, b~1882, lived in Clonifeen during the 1911 census with his father, John.
James is my great uncle, and John would be my great, great grandfather.
Wife was "Anne Murphy" as detailed by one of the immigrated son's marriage cetificates, Patrick b1881, (John and Thomas also, sons of John & Anne, likely born late1870-1880s immigrated to US.)
(found other records that it may have been Honoria, or Onoria)
