Last Thursday evening there was a disappointing turnout for an invitation to discuss a ten year plan for the future of The Suck from Ballinasloe to Shannonbridge and The Shannon upstream to Lanesboro. Some items mentioned at previous meetings were circulated and mentioned water quality, increase in river traffic, access to Clonfert and Glasson from the river and problems with high speed craft effecting banksides, wildlife habitat, angling ,sailing.
