Blessing of the Graves
Mass with the Blessing of the Graves on Friday 5th August @ 7pm in the 'New Cemetery', Clonmacnois.

Offaly Smallholder Service will assist farmers to examine eligiblity for new Medical Card / GP Card & Farm Assist. The Service is also providing help in completing applications for Third Level College Grants. Contact Kieran Kelly in Banagher on 0509-51622.

FÁS has established an Internet based training service called eCollege, which offers a range of flexible learning opportunities. It can be accessed at www.fas.ie (and select the eCollege option).
It is available to everybody and offers over 100 courses that can be taken online in the following categories: Business, Office Applications, Web Design/Programming, Technical Support, Soft Skills/Personal Development and Health & Safety.
Most courses are certified; the cost is modest; payment can be made online.

Summer Camp
Offaly Leader + will host a Music Technology Camp in the Shannonbridge Hall from 8th – 12th August. This course has been run in various other locations and has proven very successful; and participants do not need to be musically talented to enjoy this course. Minimum age is 10 years old.
