October is Mission Month
We remember our own call to Mission, to build up the Body of Christ wherever we are. Everybody has some gift to offer in the service of others. If we fail, others will suffer in some way.
We both welcome those who come as strangers in our midst, and support those in our parish who struggle to bring about a caring and involved community based on Gospel values. Our common calling is to promote the message of Christ in word and deed, and 'to take a full, active and conscious participation' in the Liturgy.
For this reason we are always happy to hear from people who are willing to offer their services in the parish - to use their skills and talents for the good of others and the glory of God.
Many thanks to all those who are doing so already.
