Recent Deaths.

Some recent deaths in the Shannobridge area:
Jerry Greene, Blackwater Lodge, passed away last week after a long illness and was buried in Clonamcnoise on Saturday last.

Joe Darcy, Clonmacnoise has died and his funeral to Clonmacnoise was on Monday last.

The death also occurred of Mary Rooney (nee Curley), London and Creevagh. She was a sister of Martin Curley, Creevagh. After requiem mass in Shannonbridge yesterday her funeral left for Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim where her late husband was also recently interred.

Margaret Caulfield Senior, Belmont, has died at the great age of 98 years. She was Mother of Ann Kelly, Clonmacnoise. Her funeral is tomorrow, Thursday, in High Street.

Finally, sad news of the sudden death of 21 year old Darren Egan, Shannonbridge. He will be laid to rest tomorrow in Clonmacnoise.
