YEAR OF FAITH
During
this Year of Faith it is planned to have a pilgrimage- celebration centred on
the Sacraments in 7 historical / religious sites across the 4 Cluster parishes
of Clonmacnois, Cloghan/Banagher, Ferbane, and Ballinahown. It is hoped to involve all groups in the
Parishes. On next Thurs we will visit Killourney Cemetery (the
theme will be the Sacrament of Reconciliation), and continue each Thurs @

pilgrimage-celebration will be in
Clonmacnois on Thurs 15th August, and the Sacramental theme
will be the Blessed Eucharist.
‘Passports’
specially designed for this ‘Year of

Young people who
are unable to travel to Brazil for World Youth Day (WYD) this summer are
being offered the opportunity to experience ‘Rio in Dublin’.
The Office of
Evangelisation & Ecumenism in Dublin diocese is planning to recreate the
atmosphere of World Youth Day with a weekend of catechises, music, prayer,
workshops and reconciliation from July 27-28.
“Rio in Dublin
2013 is aimed at young people who can’t attend WYD or former pilgrims who would
like to capture some of the magic of the event,” said Gerard Gallagher from
Dublin diocese.
