Shannonbridge launched their league campaign with a four point win over St. Rynagh’s on Saturday. In difficult underfoot conditions, an even first half ended with the teams level at four points each. On the restart Shannonbbridge scored three points without reply and goals from Ronan McEvoy and Adrian Kelly put them seven points clear, before a last minute St. Rynagh’s goal closed the gap to four points. Final score, Shannonbridge 2-7; St. Rynagh's 1-6.
