NATIONAL HOLY WELLS DAY On Sunday 18 June, you and your friends are invited to visit one of 3,000 Holy Wells in Ireland. Since early Christian times these have been seen as places of prayer and healing. On this day, you can pray for the protection of water and furthermore you can plan with others how to protect the water in your area. See the Loving Sister Earth website for more details.

PARISH COUNCIL
 Our Parish Council is up for renewal. Its’ call is to assist in the administration of the pastoral aspects of parish life, promoting the Christian Life of the parish, supporting & collaborating with existing groups & planning for future needs as we listen carefully to one another. Nomination Papers are available in our Churches this weekend. Please return them as soon as possible, nominating at least 2-4 people.
OTHER DATES
SHANNONBRIDGE TIDY TOWNS will be holding a meeting the first Tuesday of every month (July 4th next)  in the health centre at 9.30pm, all welcome. If you can't make the meetings and have a suggestion as to what you think may improve the village then drop you suggestions into Peggy in the tourist information office. All help and suggestions would be greatly received.
SHANNONBRIDGE GAA Next meeting to discuss progressing the club on Mon. June 26th at 8:30p.m. in Clonfanlough Hall.
