Watched Hugh Collins, Bord na Mona, wading in to take the water level at the bridge this morning. The water is now at an all-time record high at 5.415 metres.
Widespread flooding of land in the area. The road through the village is closed below the church with two pumps working to keep the water at bay - diversion via the Power Station road around to the Cloghan Road.
