Post Office: John Robinson. Letters arrive through Ballinasloe at 9.30 am. Last post out at 5.30pm. Nearest moneyorder and telegraph office - Belmont.

Church of Ireland: Rev. John George Hodges M.A..

Catholic: Rev. James O'Reilly P.P..

National School: F. Murray (Master) and M. Rigney (Mistress).

Private Residents: Richard Cooke, Michael Egan, Joseph Johnson, Woodbank, Rev. James O'Reilly P.P..

Commercial Premises: Maria Doran (Grocer), John Flannery (Draper), Daniel Kenny (Spirit Dealer), Peter Larkin (Blacksmith), George Luker (Hotel Proprieter), F. Murray (Schoolmaster), John Robinson (Postmaster) John Wilson (Grocer).
