Cluny Emergency Relief Appeal for Haiti notice pinned to the Church
noticeboard tells that The Sisters of Cluny have been in Haiti since
1864.Yes 1864.They have 82 Sisters in 14 Communities there at present.
The Sisters are involved in primary and secondary education;
health care;women's promotion and social development.
Because of the utter devastation,the Cluny sisters in the Province of
Ireland & Great Britain wish,in solidarity with their community in
Haiti to do something very specific,manageable,achievable and
realistic within the next six months (Jan-June 2010) in respect of a
feeding programme for needy children and their families and for this
they need ..... your help.
