Shannonbridge GAA Club

Division Two League Semi Final.


Shannonbridge overcame St. Rynagh’s by the minimum margin to qualify for the Division Two League Final. This game was switched from Pullough to Shannonbridge due to ground conditions. At the break the home side were three points in arrears, 1-3 to 0-9, with the goal coming from Niall Price. St. Rynagh’s were reduced to fourteen players just before half time. Shannonbridge drew level 1-6 to 0-9 after five minutes of the second half, were unable to press home their advantage. When the referee levelled numbers in the eighteenth minute, St. Rynagh’s established a two point lead, 1-6 to 0-11. Three unanswered points from Karol Kelly, Anthony Kelly and Paul Deeley closed the scoring at 1-9 to 0-11.

Shannonbridge / Doon Lottery.
There was no winner of last week’s jackpot. The numbers drawn were 2, 4, 19 and 28 and there were five match three winners. This week’s jackpot is €7,200.

Sympathy.
The club extends its sympathy to Pakie Daly and the Daly family on the death of Bridgie. May she rest in peace.
