Shannonbridge
bowed out of this year’s championship, at Clara on Saturday, losing the semi
final to Raheen by 1-10 to 1-12. With
scores level at 0-3 each after seventeen minutes, Raheen scored 1-3 for an
eight point advantage at the break.
Shannonbridge fought back in the second half, closing the gap with
points from Dean Hogan, Anthony Kelly (0-2), Ronan McEvoy and Conor
Killeen. A great goal by Dean Hogan,
with six minutes to go, put them right back in the game, but unfortunately,
time ran out leaving the score at 1-10 to 1-12.
