Shannonbridge GAA Club


Junior B Football Championship.
Shannonbridge bowed out of this year’s championship, at Clara on Saturday, losing the semi final to Raheen by 1-10 to 1-12.  With scores level at 0-3 each after seventeen minutes, Raheen scored 1-3 for an eight point advantage at the break.  Shannonbridge fought back in the second half, closing the gap with points from Dean Hogan, Anthony Kelly (0-2), Ronan McEvoy and Conor Killeen.   A great goal by Dean Hogan, with six minutes to go, put them right back in the game, but unfortunately, time ran out leaving the score at 1-10 to 1-12.

Division Four League, Shannonbridge v Durrow, Tuesday 10th. Sept, in Shannonbridge, at 6.45pm.

There was no jackpot winner last week.  The numbers were 13, 21, 23, 27 and there was one match three.  This week’s jackpot is €9,800.
