Walking the Camino in 2015                                                                                         You may have heard about the ancient Camino (meaning  “the Way”) across Northern Spain, & thought about walking part of it. – From June 2nd-9th our local Parish Cluster has arranged for a small group of 25 (including youth ages 18-35) to walk the 110km from Sarria to Santiago de Compostella in Northern Spain. Booking closes 2nd May. Early booking advised as each person books own flight and prices inevitably rise. Currently estimated cost €260 B&B  sharing for 7 nights (+€140 single supplement), plus €197 flights plus approx €100 dinner). Information/booking at Fr. Tom Cox (086) 8319500 or frtom@ferbaneparish.ie

"Gratitude can best be defined and understood as the only possible response to a gift, to something recognized as utterly, freely given. Gratitude is the vision – the way of seeing – that recognizes ‘gift.’   Our culture seems on the verge of losing the meaning of the experience of gratitude, in part because we have lost all sense of ‘gift.’"       (Ernest Kurtz)
