Vocations Sunday– Next weekend (May 6/7th) sees Good Shepherd or Vocations Sunday. Bishop Francis has asked that prayers for vocations to the priesthood and religious life and to Christian Marriage be offered during May, asking our Blessed Lady’s intercession. We welcome Mr. Ignatius Lynam (Parish of Moate)to our parish who will speak on Vocations at the 8p.m. Vigil and 10:30a.m. Sunday Mass in our Parish.

Pilgrimage Season at Knock Shrine
Fr Richard Gibbons and staff are delighted to announce the opening of the official pilgrimage season at Knock from Sunday 30th April. Masses and Ceremonies will take place daily in addition to a wide range of services at the Shrine, including Prayer Guidance, Youth Ministry, the award-winning Knock Museum & Café Le Chéile, the religious Bookshop and daily guided tours. Groups are always welcome. For more information on day retreats, pilgrimages, events and daily ceremonies, visit www.knockshrine.ie.

MAY 10TH 2017 Bereavement Information Evening for Parents: Anam Cara, the national organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding a Bereavement Information Evening on Wednesday 10th of May from 19:30 to 21:30 in the Mullingar Park Hotel, Mullingar, Co.
