DAN EDWARDS: CRAFTSMAN & ARTIST EXHIBITION The OPW are honoured to host an
 exhibition displaying the unique artistic work of local craftsman Dan Edwards. Born in Clonfanlough 
in 1925, a blacksmith and son of a blacksmith, his intense spiritual connection with his localLandscape  is the inspiration for this exhibition, which brings together, for the first time, examples of his life's work.  The exhibition will take place in Temple Connor Clonmacnoise, from Wednesday 23rd – Sunday 27th August, 11:00-16:30 each day.  Free entry to Clonmacnoise monastic site on Sunday 27th to celebrate heritage week. SEPTEMBER 3RD DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK Clonmacnois Parish A bus will
 travel from the parish as usual.  The day trip will include a breakfast and an evening meal.  
Provisional Price €32 (to be confirmed and dependent on numbers). If interested, please Give your

 9:30 (Shannonbridge church)                                                   
 CLONMACNOIS PRAYER VIGIL  in Cluain Chiarain Prayer Centre on Friday 18th of August 
and every third Friday. Mass at 9pm. Adoration and Prayers follow until 2.10am. All Welcome.

 CLOTHING COLLECTION for Shannonbridge GAA Minor Club on Wednesday 30th August at
 9:30a.m. in Shannonbridge GAA Club. Bags can be left with committee members or dropped outside 
Shannonbridge Hall any time before then. Clothing, paired shoes, belts, handbags, bed linen, towels, 
curtains and soft toys. (We cannot accept wet or dirty clothing, mats, duvets or pillows.)
