Bags can be left with committee members or dropped outside Shannonbridge Hall any time before then. Clothing, paired shoes, belts, handbags, bed linen, towels, curtains and soft toys. (We cannot accept wet or dirty clothing, mats, duvets or pillows.)

travel from the parish as usual.  The day trip will include a breakfast and an evening meal.  Provisional

 SHANNONBRIDGE GAA –DUCK DERBY, Sunday 27th August at Marina 4p.m. €3 per duck 
or 2 for €5. Refreshments in the Playground afterwards.
                                                                                                                                                 
DAN EDWARDS: CRAFTSMAN & ARTIST EXHIBITION The OPW are honoured to host an 
exhibition displayi ng the unique artistic work of local craftsman Dan Edwards. Born in Clonfanlough
 in 1925, a blacksmith and son of a blacksmith, his intense spiritual connection with his local Landscape  is the inspiration for this exhibition, which brings together, for the first time, examples of his life's work.  The exhibition will take place in Temple Connor Clonmacnoise, from Wednesday 23rd – Sunday 27th August, 11:00-16:30 each day.  Free entry to Clonmacnoise monastic site on Sunday 27th to celebrate heritage week. If locals wish to see the exhibition, the display will also be on Thursday evening August 24th from
 7:00p.m. to 8:30p.m.
