Feast of St Ciaran – Pattern Day
We will celebrate Mass for the feast of St Ciaran, on Fri 9th Sept in Clonmacnois @ 7pm. Pattern Day is Sun 18th Sept; Mass @ 3pm.
Choir-members from both Shannonbridge & Clonfanlough are kindly asked to come and lead the singing for both celebrations.
The guest speaker for Pattern Day will be Bishop Jim Moriarty. Members of Youth 2000 will also participate.

Clonmacnois Pilgrim Walk
On Pattern Sun 18th September, beginning @ 12 noon from Ballinahown car park.
Bring packed lunch, and wear proper walking shoes and all weather clothes!
This invitation is especially directed to young people, and will be lead by the St Mary's Youth Group, Athlone. But all are welcome.

Interested in learning more about your Faith?
Diploma in Applied Theology (Pastoral Ministry) - @ Roscommon Town. Suitable for anyone who wants to get to know more about basic teachings of the faith.
Higher Diploma in Religious Education - Ed C. Athlone. This 2 year part-time course is approved by the Dept of Education to allow those who have successfully completed it to teach up to 16 hours per week of Religious Education.
All courses are run by St Angela's College, Sligo and accredited by NUI Galway.

There will be a Personal Development & Life Skills Course held in Shannonbridge Hall starting Tues 20th Sept and will run for 8 weeks. It is 90% funded by Offaly Leader.
The cost is €30 p.p.
