Ricey Scully is a well known name on local radio and for a number of weeks he has been bringing his recording equipment to various towns and villages in the Midlands of Ireland.
On this Thursday August 24th the Ricey Scully Show will be recorded live in Killeens Bar in Shannonbridge. A number of musicians will be performing and Mick Killeen has a team lined up for Ricey to interview.

The death has occurred of Michael Kennedy, Bloomhill and Athlone. His funeral takes place to Clonmacnois tomorrow Wednesday 23rd August after Mass in Clonmacnois. He was a brother of Joe Kennedy, car salesman in Birr. May he rest in peace.
Shannonbridge footballers were defeated in a crunch match this evening by a Banagher / Cloghan team. The defeat may mean that they will go from senior to intermediate.
