Many thanks to all who helped in any way to prepare for and celebrate Pattern Day in Clonmacnois last Sunday; and to all those who provided refreshments. Many people provided their services very generously, and it is much appreciated.

Shannonbridge Parent & Toddler Group
Will begin meeting on Thurs 20th Sept @ 10.30am in the Parish Hall. Parents, Grandparents, Carers, all welcome.

Youth 2000 will have a Vigil Service from 11pm to 4am on 21st-22nd Sept in the Prayer Centre, Clonmacnois, starting with Mass. All welcome to pray for the renewal of faith & evangelisation of Ireland. This Vigil is held on the third Fri of every month. For more information contact Helen on 086-1678027

Carrying the Light
A series of 3 talks by Maureen Cahalan for all who are struggling with loss of any sort, whether through bereavement, separation, relationship, etc. in Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe on Tuesdays 11th, 18th, 25th Sept from 7.30pm -9.30pm sharp.
These talks also helpful for those working with individuals who are dealing with life separation / loss issues.


Millennium Partnership Fund for College Students.
West Offaly Partnership will administer the Fund this year. Applications are welcome from students that are resident in the WOP area & are in receipt of a third level grant. Closing date for applications is Fri 28th Sept. For more info call 057-9151622
