Today Thursday 27th September I met the Mulgrew Family. They were on a cycle trip from Galway to Dublin and set off from Galway earlier today, making their first stopover at Shannonbridge.

Six members of the family are cycling.

Hugh, the father is from County Down.

Paul now lives in Dublin.

Jacqui came over from Boston USA for the trip.

Edward lives in Lurgan, County Armagh.

Hugh, Junior lives in Glasgow.

Jacqui got the idea from a Boston newspaper story about a Father and Son that were planning to cycle from Los Angeles to New York. So she asked her dad if he would like to cycle from Galway to Dublin. Of course he agreed as did her three brothers and sister.

They plan to stopover in Tullamore tomorrow night and get to Dublin Sunday morning.
