The death has occurred of Mrs Molly Coleman, Kilcummin, nee Kelly, relic of Kevin Coleman.

May she rest in peace.

Shannonbridge Active Retirement Group have recommenced their Tuesday get-together after Mass in Shannonbridge at 10am. New members are welcome. At present the meetings consist of a cup of tea and a biscuit or scone and a chat. They use the meeting to plan activities and outings etc.

Some few flakey bits of snow in the air but not staying on the ground. Last night I heard a man from Arklow on the Late Date radio program requesting a tune at 1.00am. He had just come in from making a snowman on his lawn as a surprise for his children in the morning. He was freezing with the cold after his work.

Remember to feed the birds and give them a drink in the cold weather.
