Recently RTE had some historical programmes involving Clonmacnois. RTE keep these programmes available on a file.
I asked Padraig Turley of Clerhane and Dublin how to get access to these programmes and I will paste his reply here
Hi Derry,
To get Secrets of the Stones and the second programme More Secrets of the Stones, You Google rte.ie,
then when the Homepage comes up, you will find an icon on the right side marked RTE Player,
you then click on this icon and a calendar will come up. The date of the programme was the 4th May,
so you click on the 4th of may, then a list of all the programmes for that day will come up,
so all you have to do is click on the programme you need in this case the Secrets of the Stones,
and the programme will start. It last 52 minutes and is vey good, a fair portion of the programme
is devoted to Clonmacnois with Heather King making a contribution.
See Rangers beat Celtic today, it is always a bit tricky when the Pope leaves Rome!!!
Kind regards,
Pádraig

Tommy Flynn late of Drum and Taughmaconnell has died and was buried today in Taughmaconnell
after Mass in Drum Church. Tommy was married to Marie Henry of Clonfinlough, daughter of the
late Jack and Mrs Henry. May he rest in peace.
