On the day, special thanks to Uachtaran Cumann Luth Chleas Gael, Christy Cooney, for taking the time out of his busy schedule, for presenting the medals to the underage teams and for performing the official opening, to Pat Teehan, Chairman of Offaly Co Board for his attendance and words of support, to Fr. Frank O’Hanlon PP for the blessing of our premises, to Kilcormac-Killoughey Under 10s and Ferbane-Belmont Under 12s, to Offaly and Longford Senior Football teams, an Garda Siochana, local landowners for car-parking facilities, the Aware organisation who benefitted from the proceeds of the day, the media, both national and local, the supporters and all who contributed in any way to the success.
