Shannonbridge qualified for the Div. 5 final, against Doon, with a good away win over Bracknagh on Saturday last. Shannonbridge had a good start and were leading by 1-5 to 0-1 after ten minutes. Bracknagh got into their stride in the second quarter and closed the gap to four points, but wayward shooting did not help their cause. Shannonbridge, powered on by three goals from centre forward Adrian Kelly, ran out winners by 3-9 to 0-8. There was no winner of last week’s jackpot, with the numbers drawn as follows – 10, 12, 23 and 26. There two match three winners. This week’s jackpot is € 10,800.

Shannonbridge kick off their Intermediate campaign on Monday 31st May, v St. Rynagh’s, in Ferbane, at 7.30.
The juniors are in championship action the following day, Tuesday 1st June, v Rhode, in Shannonbridge, at 7.30.
