Fr Christy Fox, Mill Hill Missionary, who has worked in Uganda for many years, will be with us next weekend, 14/15th April. He will speak at all the Masses on the work of the missionary church, and is requesting new subscribers for their Missionary Magazine, ‘St Joseph’s Advocate’. Those who do not wish to subscribe for the magazine are invited to give a donation for the missions, and this would be greatly appreciated.

Questions people ask (Fr O’Flynn – Intercom)Q. In what way was the raising of Jesus different from the raising of Lazarus or the widow’s son at Nain? A. It’s the difference between resuscitation and Resurrection. Lazarus was resuscitated, meaning that he was brought back into the same level of life and he had to die again at a later date. Resurrection is not coming back into former life but going forward into a new and greater life. An entirely new level of life was revealed in the Resurrection of Jesus. As St Paul wrote, all our believing is based on the Resurrection of Jesus.
