Eucharistic Adoration Regional Gathering
There will be a gathering in Ferbane Church on Sunday 3rd March @ 3 p.m. for those involved in Eucharistic Adoration. This is part of the new diocesan structure that wants to support adorers in their ministry.
The event will involve a time of Adoration in the Church and a brief gathering afterwards to appoint representatives from parishes and this region to liaise with the diocesan committee. Any enquiries can be directed to Fr Turlough Baxter 087 9972259

Why go to Mass? (Courtesy of Fr Aidan Ryan)
Jesus invites me – ‘Do this in memory of me’.
The community needs the support of my presence.
My faith needs the support of a believing community
The Gospel can challenge me
The Bread of Life can nourish & strengthen me
Weekly Mass anchors my week & my life
God has blessed me, so I give thanks
I have needs, so I ask God’s help
Worship combats spiritual laziness & gives depth, direction & meaning to life.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ASK (Fr O’Flynn – Intercom)
Q. I am personally opposed to abortion, but is it right to impose Catholic morality in what is now a multicultural and democratic society?
A. It is misleading to speak of abortion as a matter just of Catholic morality. The right to life is not a Catholic issue only but a matter of human justice. Human justice is a fundamental pillar of a democratic society. Basic human justice ought to be the concern of every person regardless of religious belief or affiliation. And what is more basic than one’s right to life?
