Shannonbridge GAA Club


Division Two League.
Shannonbridge achieved their second league win with a 2-10 to 0-5 win over Gracefield on Friday last. Gracefield opened the scoring with two pointed frees, before ShannonbrĂ­dge opened their account with a goal from Darragh Corbett, after a good run by Niall Price. Two Paul Deeley points left the score at half time 1-2 to 0-3. A good second half team performance saw Shannonbridge build a six point lead by the twenty fifth minute, when their second goal secured the points. Final score 2-10 to 0-5.

There was no winner of last week’s jackpot. The numbers drawn were 7, 12, 15 and 28 and there were six match three winners. This week’s jackpot is €4,800.

Sympathy.
The club extends its sympathy to the Maloney family on the sudden passing of Pat Maloney, in Dublin. May he rest in peace.
