Shannonbridge came from nine points down after twenty five minutes to draw with Daingean, 1-8 to 2-5, on Saturday, at Shannonbridge. The visitors scored two goals in the first half, but a goal by Philip Egan, on the stroke of half time, reduced the deficit to a more manageable five points. Shannonbridge suffered the loss of Paul Deeley, ten minutes into the second half, but continued to press strongly with scores from D. Corbett (two), Kieran Flannery, Eddie Egan and Karol Kelly, before Shane Flannery slotted over the last point of the game for a deserved draw.

Division Four League.
Shannonbridge secured a draw in their first round league game, away to Bracknagh on Sunday, on a score of Shannonbridge 1-7; Bracknagh 2-4. On a bitterly cold day, when a strong cross wind made scoring very difficult, Bracknagh led by four points at half time, thanks to a goal in the eight minute. Their second goal gave them a five point advantage with seventeen minutes to go. Shannonbridge finished strongly, kick-started by a Michael Corbett goal two minutes later. Points from Darren Finn (two), Peadar Kelly and Ronan McEvoy ensured a share of the points.
