A slow start left Shannonbridge with too much ground to make up against Ballyfore, on Saturday, in Shannonbridge. The half time score stood at 2-5 to 0-2, but an improved second half performance reduced the deficit to four points with fifteen minutes remaining. However, two goals for the visitors saw them comfortable winners on a score of 1-10 to 4-11.

Shannonbridge lost out to Gracefield by two points, in the third round of the league on Sunday morning on a score of 1-3 to 0-8.

There was no winner of last week’s jackpot. The numbers drawn were 7, 13, 19 and 23 and there were nine match three winners. This week’s jackpot is €6,000.
