Shannonbridge GAA Notes

Division Two League.

Shannonbridge secured their third league win with a four point victory over St. Rynagh’s, at Cloghan, on Friday evening. After conceding a goal in the home side’s first attack, Shannonbridge remained three to four points adrift for most of the game – half time score St. Rynagh’s 1-4; Shannonbridge 0-4. Points from frees by Kieran Flannery kept the game close and Shannonbridge took the lead with five minutes remaining when a well worked move was finished to the net by Darragh Corbett. A second goal from Karol Kelly made the final score 2-9 to 1-8.

There was no winner of last week’s jackpot. The numbers drawn were 12, 14, 21 and 22 and there were two match three winners. This week’s jackpot is €5,600.
