Why Worry? Worry is the case of many of the world’s problems. Don’t ruin today by worrying about yesterday’s problems. Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but it empties today of its peace. A day of worrying is more exhausting than a day of hard work. Nothing wastes more energy than worrying. It’s a total waste of time. Its useless. Worry raises your blood pressure, hardens your arteries, causes depression, damages your health, increases your stress levels and makes you feel miserable. It gives you headaches and sleepless nights and robs you of peace of mind. There is no pill , no seminar, book or CD to stop you worrying. The answer is to put God in control of your life. Trust Him. God is in charge and God understands. Let tomorrow to God. Live one day at a time. Don’t open your umbrella until it starts raining and don't’ t cross bridges until you reach them. Hand over everything to God, yourself, your problems, plans and health. Surrender and abandon yourself to God. Surrender your family to God. Your future is in God’s hands and in God’s hands your are in safe hands. Trust God and all will be well.
In ainm an Athar agus an Mhic agus an Spioraid Naoimh. Amen.
Grásta ár dTiarna Íosa Críost agus grá Dé agus cumann an Spioraid Naoimh libh go léir.
Agus le do spiorad féin.
ar nAthair atá ar neamh,
go naofar d’ainm,
go dtaga do ríocht,
go ndéantar do thoil ar an talamh,
mar a dhéantar ar neamh.
Ár n-arán laethúil tabhair dúinn inniu,
agus maith dúinn ár bhfiacha,
mar a mhaithimidne dár bhféichiúna féin,
agus ná lig sinn i gcathú,
ach saor sinn ó olc.
Hail, glorious St. Patrick, dear saint of our isle,
On us thy poor children bestow a sweet smile; And now thou art high in the mansions above,
On Erin's green valleys look down in thy love.
On Erin's green valleys, on Erin's green valleys, On Erin's green valleys look down in thy love.
Hail, glorious St. Patrick, thy words were once strong Against Satan's wiles and an infidel throng;
Not less is thy might where in Heaven thou art; Oh, come to our aid, in our battle take part!
Ever bless and defend the sweet land of our birth, Where the shamrock still blooms as when thou were on earth, And our hearts shall yet burn, wherever we roam, For God and St. Patrick, and our native home.
Céad míle fáilte romhat, a Íosa, a Íosa
Céad míle fáilte romhat, a Íosa Céad míle fáilte romhat a Shlánaítheoir Céad míle míle fáilte romhat, 'Íosa, a Íosa
Glóir agus moladh duit, a Íosa, a Íosa Glóir agus moladh duit, a Íosa
Glóir agus moladh duit, a Shlánaítheoir Glóir, moladh agus buíochas duit, 'Íosa, a Íosa
Ag Críost an Síol, ag Críost an Fómhar Ín iothlann Dé go dtugtar sinn. Ag Críost an mhuir, ag Críost an t-iasc, I lionta Dé go gcastar sinn
Ó fhás go haois, is ó aois go bás Do dhá láimh a Chríost anall tharainn. Ó bhás go críoch, ní críoch ach athfhás, I bParrthas na nGrást go rabhaimid.
Christ Be Beside Me
Christ be beside me, Christ be before me,
Christ be behind me, King of my heart.
Christ be within me, Christ be below me,
Christ be above me, never to part.
Christ on my right hand, Christ on my left hand,
Christ all around me, shield in the strife.
Christ in my sleeping, Christ in my sitting,
Christ in my rising, Light of my life.

Christ be in all hearts thinking about me Christ be on all tongues telling of me.
Christ be the vision in eyes that see me, In ears that hear me, Christ ever be.
A WORD FROM TROCAIRE To lend your neighbour a helping hand is to keep the commandments.” Ecclesiasticus / Sirach 29:1. This St. Patrick’s weekend we celebrate the huge change brought about in the developing world which is made possible by the generosity of people in Ireland. Trócaire reached 2.6 million people last year with support – parents trying to feed their children, communities struck by disaster, refugees fleeing conflict, men and women whose rights were being trampled. This support can only be provided by the ongoing solidarity shown by people here at home. www.trocaire.org
