PASTORAL LETTER - Bishop Francis has written a pastoral letter on the proposal to repeal the Eight Amendment to the Constitution. It’s theme is ‘human life as both sacred and a human right’. When human life has begun, it should be allowed to continue to its natural end. Because this is such a sensitive matter and a difficult topic, he has asked priests not to read it out, but to make it available in our churches and draw attention to it. Those who wish are invited to take a copy of this letter as they leave the church today
