DID YOU KNOW? That from Easter Sunday to Pentecost, the Angelus prayer is replaced by the Regina Coeli. In the year 1742, Pope Benedict XIV professed that the Regina Caeli was to be prayed in place of the Angelus during the Easter Season when the bells were rung.  It goes as follows
℣. Queen of Heaven, rejoice, alleluia:
℟. The Son whom you merited to bear, alleluia.
℣. Has risen, as He said, alleluia.
℟. Pray for us to God, alleluia.
℣. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, alleluia.
℟. For the Lord has truly risen, alleluia.
℣. Let us pray:
O God, who through the resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ gave rejoicing to the world
grant, we pray, that through his Mother, the Virgin Mary, we may obtain the joys of everlasting life.
“For the sake of His sorrowful passion,
have mercy on us and the whole world, Amen”

“For the sake of His sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and the whole world, Amen” Christ our Lord.  ℟. Amen
