Welcome and Happy Easter

 I wish you all a very happy Easter. Thanks to all who participated in the celebration of the Easter Liturgies. Special thanks to the readers, ministers of Holy Communion, altar servers, collectors and counters, choir, those who helped with washing of the feet, and all others who helped in any way. We extend a warm welcome to all who are home on holidays. As we prepare for the World Meeting of Families in August, we pray that you and your families be blessed with Easter joy and a renewed confidence in celebrating our faith in the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ.

TROCAIRE Thanks to all who supported the Trócaire Lenten Campaign. Your generosity will help many people in deprived areas of the world, especially those suffering from hunger, those displaced from their home because of warfare and violence and forced to seek refuge in lands other than their own.

BAPTISM - The next meeting for parents in our pastoral area who have a child for baptism will be held in the Parochial House in Ballinahown on Thursday 12th April from 8-9pm.

THANK YOU to all who contributed €400 to Offaly Hospice Collection at the recent Coffee Morning on March 23rd.

CHOOSE LIFE PRO-LIFE RALLY IN   ATHLONE Commencing at 6p.m. on Wednesday 4th April John McCormack Hall, Athlone Institute of Technology.  to highlight the importance of Ireland’s 8th Amendment and the tens of thousands saved by it. Ark of Divine Mercy will host Divine Mercy Sunday (April 8th) at Cluain Ciaran, Clonmacnois on Sunday, 8th April starting at 1:30p.m. with a short procession with the image of Divine Mercy, Diary of St. Faustina. Stations of the Cross, Confessions, Chaplet of Divine Mercy and concluding with Holy Mass. Celebrant Fr. Luke. All are welcome. Details from Kathleen O’Connor or Paul Woods on 087 7828283.
