Data Protection Legislation (GDPR) Came into force recently. Among the requirement is that written consent of people whose names are published in the Newsletter or noticeboard be obtained. For example Ministers of the Eucharist, Readers, Altar Society, Collectors, those involved in looking after Church grounds. Consent forms will be left in the Sacristies in each of the Churches. The consent form is an essential element of Data Protection compliance. The consent form is very short and only takes a few moments to complete and can be completed after any of the Masses. We would be very grateful if you could treat the completion of this form as a priority next time you are at Mass.

THANK YOU to all who contributed to Offaly Hospice in their recent Church Gate Collection in Shannonbridge. €230 was raised.

Make us patient and kind, gentle and generous, welcoming to those in need. Help us to live your forgiveness and peace. Protect all families with your loving care, Especially those for whom we now pray: Increase our faith, Strengthen our hope, Keep us safe in your love, Make us always grateful for the gift of life that we share. This we ask, through Christ our Lord, Amen
Mary, mother and guide, pray for us. Saint Joseph, father and protector, pray for us. Saints Joachim and Anne, pray for us. Saints Louis and Zélie Martin, pray for us.
CEMETERY MASS  takes place in Clonmacnois on Saturday, August 4th at 7pm.  Please remember to bring Holy Water for the sprinkling of the graves. It is touching to see how so many tend to graves of loved ones and sometimes of other plots where there may be nobody local to tend to them. The help of the Rural Social Scheme workers is a great blessing and nor do we forget the OPW in tending to the old Monastic Cemetery. Some of our parish funds go to help defray costs (Oil, servicing mowers etc) in this work and I thank you in advance for your generous support of this great work through the Parish Offertory .
