No luck for Shannonbridge in last week's round of league matches. Our Div. 1 team, which was short a few players, was well beaten by Shamrocks, at Mucklagh, by 2.20 to 1.5. Our Div. 4 team had home advantage but were narrowly defeated by Raheen on a scoreline of 1.14 to 2.9.

Offaly hurlers lost their Leinster Senior Hurling semi-Final to Kilkenny today - Kilkenny 2.24, Offaly 0.12. Offaly now play either Cork or the losers of the game between Limerick and Clare in the qualifiers.
