Lorraine Mc Kenna from Pottstown Pennsylvania asked in an e-mail to me last week why
the Ballinasloe web has not been updated for weeks.
Gerry Stronge advises her to look under discussion form.
Yesterday I telephoned Ballinasloe Chamber of Commerce about the website.
A"very helpful" girl told me that the Chamber were setting up a website to promote Ballinasloe.
Of course she never heard of any other websites that I mentioned.
Hope their website has a handle on their Chamber and that they get to use it.

Christy Cunniffe from Clonfert and some friends are hoping to have a presentation on Callow People.
These are the families that lived on the callow land beside the River Shannon and their houses were subject
to flooding. They lived with the floods using a raft type timber flooring and bricks to raise the level of
the fire in their open fireplace.
Anyhow Christy is looking for photographs of those Callow People.
If you have any photographs you can e-mail them to Christy. Use chriscun@eircom.net for the carrier.
