Ballinasloe - The Gentry is the title of Hugh Anthony Mulligan's first book.
Known better as Hugh Mulligan, an Agricultural Department Inspector for many
years in this area before his retirement. On retiring Hugh found himself with
a lot of time on his hands.He decided to do some research and try his hand at
the writing game.His first book called Ballinasloe - The Gentry is about the
background to the whole gentry background and deals in particular with those
in the Ballinasloe area.It is available on line or on line by Google and their
Book Depositor or through Amazon or in local booksellers.
Hugh still has time on his hands and his second book titled 2112AD is about to
be published.And there is more.A follow up book titled 2112 Redemption is now
been written. Wishing him well with his writings.

Driftwood is a book written by Harry Sheehy telling the story of a boat trip from
The Shannon to The Marne which covers some 1200 iles in 158 pages.I was taken by
his introduction to himself and his life.
