Many thanks to all who helped in any way to prepare for and celebrate Pattern Day in Clonmacnois last Sunday; and to all those who provided refreshments. Many people provided their services very generously, and it is much appreciated.

Co Offaly Childcare Committee will host a seminar for parents entitled ‘Creating Confident Children’ with Dr Tony Humphreys on Sat 10th Oct in Tullamore Court Hotel from 10am – 4pm. Cost is €20 which includes lunch. For pre-booking (essential) call 057-9135878.

Shannonbridge Tidy Towns Committee would like to thank all who helped in keeping our Village tidy and beautiful during the year; your help contributed in getting 9 extra points over last year in the National Tidy Towns Competition. A special word of thanks to the FÁS personnel who helped us greatly, and also Offaly Co Council personnel.
