Brendan and Mary reckon that their grandfather and my grandfather
were First Cousins.
Brendan himself is a young looking Grandfather.

Today Friday 26th February Donal Coughlan from Newington Conneticut
stopped by with his friends Simon and Maureen Kavanagh from Clare-

the Callows such as Comers,McDermotts,Traceys, etc and mentioned that
a Michael Hough had written a history of the Clonfert Callow Families.
Talked about the floods and how the families lived with the floods.
Also about the great number of eggs and the amounts of unsalted
country butter produced and the amount of snuff used mostly by the
ladies.
Donal has two cousins priests in New Jersey Jackie and Eugene Boland.
Maureen Kavanagh visited the new Shannonbridge Pottery Shop located
where the old post office operated. So Donal went away with a gift
from Shannonbridge.

Michael Hough has written a history of the Clonfert Callow Families. Does anyone know how to obtain a copy. I am looking for references to the Comers that lived there.
