There was no winner of the jackpot of €8,000 this week. The numbers drawn were 5,8,9,16. Match three winners were Brendan McManus c/o Eamon McManus; Mick Heavin, Eircom, Athlone; Shauna O'Shea, Clonfanlough and Lisa Duffy, Ferbane. Next week's jackpot will be €8,200.
Under 21 Football Championship.
Shannon Gaels (St. Rynagh's and Shannonbridge) made their exit, at the quarter final stage, from this year's championship last weekend. They were defeated by St. Patrick's (Edenderry) on a scoreline of 1-13 to 2-06.
