The Parish Pastoral Council & Fr O’Hanlon would like to thank all those who participated in the Ordination Golden Jubilee Celebrations on Fri 6^th July in any way.  Without your presence, we could have no celebration.  A special word of thanks to those who looked after the catering, the music & singing, and to those who prepared the Church & Hall and surroundings for the event.

Your generosity, by way of cards, donations, prayers & good wishes is much appreciated.  Well done to the whole parish community for the pleasant atmosphere that pervaded the whole celebration.  This joyful spirit was also experienced by the ‘visitors’ attending.  Gaudeamus igitur!

 Youth 2000 Summer Festival, Clonmacnois, 9^th -12^th August

For young people aged 16-35, an opportunity not to be missed to experience the Catholic faith & meet many new friends.  This Festival has been nicknamed the ‘Holy Oxygen’ with over 1000 young people from all corners of Ireland attending last year.  The festival is by donation only.  Free busses available from around the country.  For more info call 01-6753690.
