Youth 2000 Summer Festival, Clonmacnois, 9th -12th August
For young people aged 16-35, an opportunity not to be missed to experience the Catholic faith & meet many new friends.  This Festival has been nicknamed the ‘Holy Oxygen’ with over 1000 young people from all corners of Ireland attending last year.  The festival is by donation only.  Free busses available from around the country.  For more info call 01-6753690.  Email: dublin@youth2000.ie; on line www.youth2000.ie
The theme chosen for this year is: ‘The bread that I shall give is my flesh for the life of the world.’
We are keen to encourage local youth to the festival.  In the past we have received great feedback from the young people, and as one youth commented last year, ‘When I arrived I really did not know what to expect, but now I am so thrilled to have made the journey --- it was so fantastic and inspiring, and for the first time in my life I feel as if I met God personally’
