Shannonbridge maintained their unbeaten record with a 3-15 to 0-6 win over Doon on Friday. The half time score was 2-5 to 0-4. This was a good team performance, with the defence was well marshalled by Ciaran Coughlan and good scoring, especially from the returning Harry Kearns (1-4), Adrian Kelly (1-3) and Michael Corbett (0-4).

Intermediate Football Championship.
Shannonbridge overcame Bracknagh by two points, at Killeigh, on Saturday. This was a difficult game in windy conditions that reduced shooting to a lottery. Shannonbridge played against the elements in the first half, with the score at the interval 0-1 to 0-4. A goal by Bracknagh, at the start of the second half, gave them a six point lead. Shannonbridge found the range and reeled off the scores to finish 0-11 to 1-6.

Shannonbridge / Doon Lottery.
There was no winner of last week’s jackpot. The numbers drawn were 9, 11, 20 and 23 and there were four match three winners. This week’s jackpot is €5,000.
