Golf Classic.
Shannonbridge GAA Club’s Golf Classic takes place on Saturday 18th August, at Ballinasloe Golf Club. Entry for a team of four €120 and sponsorship of a tee is €50. All support is greatly appreciated. To enter please contact Vincent Costello (087901-340) or Jim Killeen (0868181729).
Duck Derby.
The duck race on the river Shannon, which was postponed due to the flooding, now takes place on Sunday 12th August, at 7pm. Fun for all the family.
Shannonbridge / Doon Lottery.
There was no winner of last week’s jackpot. The numbers drawn were 6, 9, 17 and 26 and there were two match three winners. This week’s jackpot is €4,800.
