 Heritage Week events at Clara Bog Visitor Centre
Guided walk on Clara bog boardwalk on Tuesday 25th August at 2pm. Meet at the boardwalk on Rahan Road.
How to Write a Parish History, a talk by Stephen McNeill (Chairman of Offaly Historical & Archaeological Society) on Wednesday 26th August at 3pm in the Visitor Centre.  Queries to 057 9368878

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock will be on Sun 6th September
 A bus will go from the Parish as usual, leaving Clonfanlough @ 9.30am and Shannonbridge @ 9.45am.  Enquiries to Teresa Rohan or Darran Finnerty
Knock Counselling Centre provides a confidential Drop – In listening service for pilgrims and visitors to Our Lady’s Shrine of Knock on weekends from April to October.  The Centre is open Saturdays and Sundays, 11am to 5pm

Parkinson’s Association of Ireland
‘We will hold an Information/social weekend for people with Parkinson’s, their families and carers on Sat 19th Sept in the Hodson Bay Hotel.
